Anti-Discrimination Statement and Contact Information

The Muscogee County School District (MCSD) adheres to all federal, state, and local civil rights laws prohibiting discrimination in employment and education. MCSD does not discriminate in its programs, activities or employment practices on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, disability, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.

MCSD also prohibits retaliation against any person opposing discrimination or participating in any discrimination investigation or complaint process, internal or external to the institution. Sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking are forms of sex discrimination, which are prohibited under Title IX and by MCSD Board Policy. MCSD provides reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities and religious accommodations in the implementation of this and all other policies and procedures. Retaliation towards individuals who report or who are witnesses is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

Any person may report sex discrimination by an employee (whether or not the person reporting is the person alleged to have experienced the conduct), in person, by mail, by telephone, or by email, using the contact information listed for the Title IX Coordinator. A report may be made at any time (including during non-business hours) by mail, telephone, or email. Questions regarding Title IX, including its application and/or concerns about noncompliance, should be directed to the MCSD Title IX Coordinator for Employees. For a complete copy of the policy or for more information, please visit our District website at http://www.muscogee.k12.ga.us or contact the Title IX Coordinator.

Individuals who believe they have experienced sex discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation by an employee in violation of MCSD policy should contact one of the following Title IX Coordinators for Employees:
